Designed to meet the needs of beginners, the course gives students a comprehensive introduction to all aspects of Bulgarian language, including vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and sentence structure. In this course, students will learn how to read and comprehend written text as well as speak. The course is suitable for those who would use Bulgarian on a daily basis.
Every lesson contains text on a particular topic which helps students develop their writing and reading skills. Students will further improve their ability to communicate in Bulgarian by practicing dialogs in real time in the Virtual Classroom. The course covers basic grammar rules and syntax – nouns, adjectives, verbs, pronouns and also present, past and future tenses.
All courses’ lessons include multiple examples and exercises to help students apply their knowledge in a variety of real situations and improve their command of the language. Every Bulgarian word comes with its pronunciation and English translation. At the end of every lesson a vocabulary section lists and explains all new words. In class, and as part of their individual assignments, students are required to translate from English to Bulgarian and vice versa.
